Koala Smart is a FREE project-based learning resource for teachers and students.

Mapped to the curriculum, Koala Smart steps you through a Design Thinking or Inquiry unit so that students can be active in koala conservation and see their ideas evolve into real-world application.

Koala Smart is a Lions project supported by the NSW Koala Strategy and the Koala Hospital. Classroom-ready content and supporting resources are factual and current and are designed to inspire, motivate, and educate students, along with their local community, to actively participate in and embrace the changes needed to address the dramatic decline in koala populations.
