INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE VOLUNTEER PROGRAM

Although travel restrictions into Australia will be changing over the coming year, we do not know how this will affect potential International Volunteers.

The Koala Hospital will also be disrupted in the next year as it will be moving to a temporary site around September/October 2022 and until our new Hospital can be rebuilt. With this in mind, and the uncertainty of future travel and quarantine restrictions, we feel that we have no option but to again cancel the International Volunteer Program for 2022.

We are hopeful that we will be able to restart the program in 2023, and details of the International Volunteer Program will be posted on our website as soon as we can again accept applications.

However, as we have now cancelled the program for 3 consecutive years, and candidate circumstances may have changed, we will be asking all applicants whose placements have been cancelled, to resubmit their applications again once the program is re-opened. Priority of placements will be given to previously cancelled applicants where possible.

We are sorry that we have again had to make this decision, but I am sure you can understand our reasons for doing this.

If you have any queries about the program please contact the Hospital Coordinator at hosp.coord@koalahospital.org.au
